Jane D. Kaplan is a founding director of Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan & Hackney, LLC. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she attended Wellesley College for one year, but then transferred to Yale University when it opened its doors to women. Before moving to the Vineyard in 1985, she was an associate and then a junior partner at the firm of Hale & Dorr in Boston.

Ms. Kaplan, was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She now makes her home in Chilmark with her husband, attorney Ronald Rappaport. They have one grown daughter, Julia. At the present time Ms. Kaplan is not actively practicing.
